Application Stages
Applicants fill the
application form form on the website or offline after they get in touch with StudyPort, a few details including their contact
details and then submit the form. Study Port uses these contact details to get in touch with the student. Study Port takes at most 3 days to reply.
Applicants will be required to attend an online counselling session where they can discuss their academic and career goals,
clarify doubts, and receive guidance on the application process from counselors or representatives of the institution.
Upon applying i.e referring to stage 1, if the applicant had already selected the country and university they want, then the
same shall be discussed. If they did not select the the country and university (which is recommended) or are not sure, various options available will
be presented to them. They are given time to make the decision they want, with guidance. Then the student fills the application form (if not done so in stage 1) that will be shared with the university. StudyPort helps you in filling it and crafting the SoP.
Applicants may be required to appear in an eligibility test. This is desgined by Study Port to understand the student better. Note: This eligibility does
not in any way impact your ability to avail the scholarship. The eligibility may be in the form of a written essay or over-the-phone theoretical questions.
Note: Sometimes this may be done at the same time with the "Counselling Session"
After being deemed eligible by Study Port applicants are required to fill in the full application form which will be sent to the university
and/or country embassy of the scholarship. Study Port will help the student in filling the form and writing the Statement of Purpose (SoP)
Some programs or institutions may require applicants to undergo an eligibility check test to assess their knowledge or skills in a
particular subject area relevant to the program they are applying for. This comes directly from the University Board.
Applicants are advised to clear this eligibility check as it may affect their legibility for the University/Campus Placement or their
Registration into the Respected University and VISA. Do not worry, Study Port will be there every step to help you clear
After successfully passing the eligibility check and meeting other criteria, applicants are officially enrolled and
registered into the program or institution they applied for. This confirmation typically includes details such as start
dates, program specifics, and any further steps required for enrolment. This step often includes paying any necessary
outstanding fees (if the scholarship is not 100% or if the scholarship does not cover the fees aspect).
This stage involves submitting visa applications, attending interviews at consulates or embassies, and providing necessary
documentation to fulfill visa requirements
What is a VISA
A student visa is a special endorsement that is added to a passport that governments issue to students
who are enrolled at qualified educational institutions. Student visas are non-immigrant visas that do
not require the holder to obtain citizenship.
Is a VISA required
For international applicants, obtaining a visa is a crucial step in the application process. Any prospective student
seeking higher education in another country must obtain a student visa for that country.
When to Apply for Visa
One can begin with their student visa application once they have received a confirmation of enrolmentfrom the university
i.e (after stage 5). It’s best to apply as early as possible (after receving the acceptance letter from the university),
regardless of when the program is due to start,
as the time taken for the visa to process varies across the world.
How do we help
If you’re an Study Port student with an offer letter from any of our campuses, we advise you on how to go about the
entire process. We make sure you are fully informed on the latest visa requirements and conditions, and also help you
prepare the right documents for your submission. Our Admission Officer will also provide you with an important
checklist and help you prepare for visa interviews if needed.
After obtaining the necessary visa (if applicable), applicants make travel arrangements to relocate to the
location of their chosen institution. This may involve booking flights, arranging accommodation, and other
logistics related to the transition to their new academic environment.
Before our students arrive at the airport in their respectful country, our team will be waiting for them.
We will take the students to the university, free of cost. Once arriving at the university we help them
finish up the procedures required for new students and/or international students.
If the student wishes to stay on the school campus, we help them settle in else we provide them with accommodation
until they settle in. Then our journey with the student begins.
